An Afternoon of Pampering at UPHDS MedSpa

Last November 30, I was invited by UPHDS MedSpa to try their services through Mommy Bloggers Philippines.  The invitation couldn’t be of better timing as I just finished our 10K run for Race for Life 2015. 

My appointment was scheduled at 12pm.  I brought the hubby along so I wouldn’t have a hard time using the public transport (as we came from Cavite).  We didn’t have a hard time finding the place.  UPHDS MedSpa has a very strategic location.  It is situated at University of Perpetual Help Dalta Medical Center at Las Pinas along Alabang-Zapote Road.

I was then welcomed by UPHDS MedSpa’s staffs.  They asked me what type of services I would want to avail.  I initially thought they already have lined-up services for me to try, but I was informed that they were quite tight on schedule that day since it was a holiday which I understand naman.  UPHSD MedSpa needs prior reservation for any services you want to avail.  You might have a hard time if you will just walk in.  You can call 02-874-8515 local 449 and 450 for reservations.

So I just settled on having a facial treatment and body massage.  I also asked to have a trial of their Ultra Lipo treatment for 5 minutes.  But before trying out any of the aforementioned services, I was given a chance to tour the place.

UPHDS MedSpa has facial rooms and massage rooms.  They just recently renovated their place to add more rooms for massage and facial services.  Some massage rooms has sauna and showers.  UPHDS MedSpa’s masseuses are all DOH certified.  They also have registered nurses who do facial treatment for their clients.

After the tour, I was ushered to one of the facial room.  Yes, room not bed so you can get the privacy you don’t have on regular facials.  This is my first time to try a facial service that is painless.  If it’s your first time to try a facial service, I suggest you go the MedSpa.  Before doing and applying anything on my face, the one who did my facial (I forgot her name, sorry) would always advise me.  This is really good because you know what’s being done and what’s being applied to your face.  After the facial, she also told me some facts about my face and the dos and don’ts for 6 hours.

After my facial, the hubby and I were escorted to our couples massage room.  It was located at the newly extended area and unfortunately one of the few rooms that don’t have sauna or shower area.  So if you’re a couple and you want to shower first, you can ask for the couples’ room with a shower.  The massage was not bad but I’ll admit it wasn’t the best I had.  I felt that the massage was not so thorough but it must be the DOH-certified way of doing the massage meant for the physique I had.

Then I had the trial for Ultra Lipo.  This is something new to me.  It is non-invasive and it was painless.  I chose to try it on my tummy and it was just like a regular pelvic ultrasound for pregnant women.

With the excellent services and the lovely place, it is very surprising that MedSpa offers affordable services and packages.
