Neo at National Bookstore’s Summer Art Camp

Last Saturday, we decided to go to Festival Mall at Alabang.  We were lucky because when we decided to go to National Bookstore to buy some office stuffs, around 1:45PM in the afternoon, there’s a small area that is holding a registration for National Bookstore’s Summer Art Camp.

The Summer Art Camp is an initiative of National Bookstore together with its partner brands every weekend from 2pm to 5pm at selected National Bookstore branches.   Since we were already there, I instantly asked Neo if he wanted to join.  He said yes, so we registered the little boy.  It’s a Drawing and Painting activity and the partner brand who hosted was Faber-Castell.

Neo was lucky enough to find a seat because the art activity can only seat 20 participants, but can accommodate a little over 20 if the parents are willing to allow their children to seat on the floor but will still have their own art materials. Faber-Castell and National Bookstore provided all the materials for the activity.

Different Faber-Castell products used during the activities.

Our little boy was so participative and was very engaged in the drawing and painting activity.  He was even chatty and friendly with his tablemates.

Sadly we need to do a lot more errands so Neo didn’t finish the 3-hour activity.  But he did enjoy it.  If you want to try National Bookstore’s Summer Camp for your kid, it’s still on for 2 more weekends at participating branches (SM MOA, Festival Mall, Market Market, and a lot more, check out this link for more details) and it’s for free J
