Blogapalooza: The Mind Museum

Has anyone of you been to The Mind Museum at Taguig?  I haven’t L  but I really wanted to go there.  Why though?  Because I am really curious about it after I heard them talk and passed by their booth at Blogapalooza (which I attended last Saturday and I’ll be dedicating one whole post about it next time).

The Mind Museum is divided into 5 galleries.  The Atom Gallery (where they explain the strange world of the very small particles), The Life Gallery (where they explain the exuberance of life), The Earth Gallery (where they explain the nature across the breadth of time), The Universe Gallery (where they explain the vastness of the universe), and The Technology Gallery (where they explain all thing technology).  Very interesting right?

In their small talk at Blogapalooza, 2 of their resident scientist who they call Mind Movers perform a very awesome experiment.  They soaked a real Php500 bill in alcohol and salt and try to burn it.  But it didn’t!  They didn’t explain it because they want to encourage people to go to The Mind Museum to get to know more of their experiments and the science behind it.

Also, when I passed by their booth, I was asked to pick a question to answer.  The question was what exhibit in The Mind Museum depicts weather changes in the world (not the exact wordings of the question, I just paraphrased it).  Since I haven’t been to The Mind Museum, I wasn’t able to answer it.  But Trixie, their Marketing Manager, told me that it was a globe showing interactive weather changes even weather disturbances.  Wow!  That got me really amazed and I really want to visit The Mind Museum.  It would be like Wunderground.com showing in 3D.  If you have been following my blog, you would know that I am very partial to weather disturbances study (malapit na nga ako magapply sa DOST PAG-ASA e LOL).

Amazing right?  Let’s all visit The Mind Museum.
